Grateful for stumbling across your post and perhaps a deeper understanding of what really passed.

My brother met Tibetan monks in Nepal in 1983. They encouraged him to stay. They said he was one of them. He wanted to stay but said, "I must go home for my family and my education." They gave him a holy object that had double dorje on one side and perhaps the animals and signs of the zodiac or other holy part of the Tibet culture. In 1992 he gave me that holy object and said it had guided him. He was gone off the planet a year later. His widow gave me all his many Buddhas and they are around my apartment. I've heard the Dalai Lama in Long Beach with my parents, and of course watched https://www.netflix.com/title/81658684. The movie that came out last year Mission: Joy. I'm so tired of evil empires (bullies) bullying those who wish to live in peace. Thank you for sharing this!

Oh, how auspicious for you to have all those objects! Yeah, I'm over it also. How said are the bullies lives that they have to go around trying to destroy others. It's so sad.

And so desperate to lord it over, aggressively take advantage of others so they can gorge and be gluttonous not caring how they destroy souls, hearts, bodies, beloved homelands. How can they sleep content knowing they have to buy fake semblances of love, appreciation, admiration, or even respect? Why can't we all work together to heal the planet and heal ourselves? Is that so hard? Is life so miserable we have to cling to old ways because we are afraid we might miss out on something? I'm with ya sistah!

Yeah - The Dalai Lama is not like the Vatican. He doesn't even accept money from any appearances or teachings he does.
